The new Ferrari 458 Italia will soon become the pride of the manufacturer of sports cars with a pony prance in the hood, being considered the fastest Ferrari model series ever built. Even faster than an Enzo. That's because under the back hood is a 4.5 liter V8 engine which develops no less than 570 hp at 9000 rpm and torque of 470 Nm. Direct fuel injection helps to lower consumption, as also the seven-speed transmission and double clutch.
The performances are at least impressive: 0-100 km/h in around 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 203 mph. Magnesium and carbon fiber were used to keep the weight of the new Ferrari 458 Italia at an acceptable level. The car has ceramic brakes.
