According to the new information, future Audi Q7 will have a total mass which will be lower by 400 kg (881 pounds), which means higher performance and greater efficiency in terms of fuel consumption and CO2 emission.
Regarding dimensions, the model will be something smaller, a feature long awaited by many.
The new Audi Q7 will benefit from MLB platform, on which are currently developed the new A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 and Q5.
The current Q7 has the PL71 platform realized in collaboration with Porsche and is implemented on the Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg.
