Shanghai Motor Show 2011: Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase

Rolls-Royce shows in Shanghai a longer wheelbase version of the Ghost, a slightly more affordable than the Phantom model, but like any Rolls, is dominated by fine materials, craftsmanship, which makes it a true luxury car.

The model presented by British is 170 mm longer in wheelbase than the standard version. Surely this option is addressed in particular to the Chinese market, a great lover of cars with more generous dimensions. Basically, this is the only change applied to the Ghost, with a virtually stunning exterior and interior.

Under the hood lies the same engine of 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 that produces 563 horsepower (420 kW)and 780 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque felt at 1500 rpm. The gorgeous creation benefits of a set of air suspensions that are responsible for the outstanding handling.
