Mercedes 2733 Zetros: 6x6 expedition vehicle




Are you passionate about mountaineering? You love to explore nature in an extreme manner? It means that a Zetros could be what you search. It is a vehicle for mountain expeditions, difficult trips where you need a very large vehicle, able to penetrate into places where few cars could reach.

The truck was ordered by two businessmen from Mongolia to travel in the Altai mountains for various purposes, such as hunting wolves and eagles.

The model is equipped with an OM 926 LA six-cylinder in-line 7.2-liter engine, that produces 326 horsepower (240 kW) and a torque of 1300 Nm.

The exterior has been customized to order coachbuilder Hartmann and interior fell in the responsibility of the Huenerkopf.

But what's really interesting is the interior that is virtually a penthouse on six wheels. The cab driver has a bed, air conditioning, stereo system with CD player, 24 V audio system, Bluetooth hands-free operation and reversing camera. On the roof, the Germans installed a trunk with a capacity of 100 kg. Also, the posterior also benefits of luggage compartment, which through a special system can be lifted on the roof.

The back comes with bedrooms, leather seating for up to six people, bathroom decorated with marble floor, heating system located under the floor and a generously sized kitchen equipped with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, cooler, bar and coffee machine.
