Spy pics with electric version of the 1 Series Coupe model have appeared. The version is called Active-E.BMW introduced this year at the Detroit Auto Show the ActiveE concept. In front of us is shown the production variant of that concept.
Interestingly, the prototype did not have a bonnet. The car was en route to southern Germany to conduct some tests. Inside the German engineers have introduced the EDR system, the purpose is not known yet.
It is possible that the new BMW 1 Series Coupe ActiveE to be equipped with a 204 horsepower electric motor that develops 220 Nm of torque.
