Antara new generation was unveiled by the Ruesselsheim manufacturer. The facelift comes with some changes to the exterior. But neither the interior was spared from this treatment. Also, engine versions will be more efficient in terms of consumption and performance.Opel Antara is equipped with a 2.2 CDTI engine. This is available in two versions: one that is able to deliver 163 horsepower (36 hp more than the previous generation), the second is developing 184 horsepower, 34 more than the previous generation. Antara benefits both four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive. The diesel engine of 163 horsepower is available in both cases. This engine dispose both 6-speed automatic transmission, manual transmission, also with six speeds. The diesel engine of 184 horsepower is supported by both drives, but only in case of all-wheel drive version.
Aspirated petrol engine is a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter, 170 horsepower (30 horsepower more than the previous generation). This engine variant benefits both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.
All versions are equipped with variable distribution and meet Euro 5 pollution standards.
From an aesthetic point of view, the new Antara has a new front bumper, a modified rear bumper, new projects. Also, the alloy wheels are also different. Both the front grille, and lights have changed.
As for inside, customers will enjoy a new center console, an optimized instrument panel and a lighting system more efficient.
