The new Audi A6 - spy photos

New spy photos of the emerging model from Audi, A6, reveals that design migrates to different concepts presented recently by the German manufacturer. Thus, we see that the front brings some changes to the headlights, which have gained a more angular form, giving it a more aggressive shape. It is possible that the LEDs may not be available from start on this model. Unfortunately, this beautiful upright trapezoidal grille it might have a slightly different form in the series version of the model.

From the side, is obvious the length is increased, while in the back we see some similarities with differen Audit concepts , which I mentioned at the beginning.

The most important change in this model is that this time will use the MLB platform that underlies A4, A5, A8 and Q5. In the case of A7 and A6, the chassis is built at a rate of 20% aluminum to reduce weight, but without being overly high price. Because of the chassis, engine can be mounted further back, causing it to be the workable A6 ever built.

Depending on preference, the new owners can choose between a gasoline engine of 2.1 liters, 2.8 TFSI and 3.0 FSI petrols and two TDI engines. The Stop/Start system might be available, like the quattro fouir-wheel drive and a manual 6-speed, a 7-speed S Tronic and automatic transmission with 8 speeds.

In the future plans to hit the market with an Avant estate and an S6 powered by a 4.0 liter V8 engine.

A6 will debut in March at Geneva and will reach on the market in the summer.
