Audi shows the first sketches of the future R8 GT Spyder

Those who were not satisfied by the R8 Spyder's performances and wanted more than that, Audi consoles them, offering them a Spyder variant of the R8 GT.

The images shows us all what to expect in terms of style to this model, which will be equipped with an aluminum body that will hide under as with the R8 GT, a 5.2-liter V10 unit, but stud will total 560 horses (412 kW), 35 (26 kW) more than in the case of R8 Spyder. The engine provides 540 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque. These figures promise a top speed of 310 km/h (192 mph) 10 km/h (6.2 mph) less than in the R8 GT.

Only 333 units will be available for sale.

Audi R8 Spyder GT will be launched in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
