Volvo V60 hybrid version comes in Geneva

This version is currently just a concept, but is very close to series production. 70 hp electric motor of this model can be powered from any AC outlet, emits 50 grams per kilometer, the consumption is just 1.9 litres/100 km. This unit has a 12 kwh battery, it can provide a range of 50 km. This engine is accompanied by a D5 turbodiesel unit that produces 215 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque.

V60 Hybrid has a six-speed automatic transmission. Swedish manufacturer has not provided information about a possible production version of this model. Diesel engines are more expensive than petrol, if they are accompanied by an electric motor, the price reaches a pretty high value. But still, is has a great consumption, which should draw attention to the fact that the acquisition of this hybrid would not be a mistake. Besides, it's a wagon, a very practical car. Maybe a hybrid of the XC60 would have been more effective, even if it was more expensive.
