At Geneva Jaguar will propose the XKR Special Edition, a special series, consisting of merging two existing packages.
Jaguar XKR Special Edition combines two of the Jaguarpackages, Speed Pack and Black Pack, to provide a product more attractive for the fans of sports coupe. The first one could be translated into practice through an increased speed from 250 km/h to 280 km/h, obtained by recalibration of the engine management system. But there can be changes that can affect performance, being in fact the removement of the electronic censorship that this coupe has a standard. Thus XKR continues to develop 510 hp with the 5.0-liter turbocharged engine and reaches 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds.
Black Package deals with the aesthetics and contribute with the 20-inch wheels Kalimnos, black plugs on both front and side, red calipers, a subtle but quite aerodynamic kit and optional adhesive "XKR" on the side. Contributing to the overall look, however, is significant and both packages give him the air of a "racer" boy.
Inside, this version comes with heated seats and electronic 16-way adjustable, with a multimedia interface with 7-inch touch screen and upholstery Jet Suedecloth and Flint Gray mats. Formal exposure of this version will happen at the Geneva Salon on March 4, according to the officials.
