The first image with the new Subaru Impreza series variant




Subaru has published the first photos of the new Impreza. The new generation, even if it is more discreet than the famous concept that is based on, and which was launched in Los Angeles, body shape is almost identical to the concept.

Although the profile photo reveals only the side, we can expect the front to be more aggressive, while the posterior will e greet us with a less exciting design. Overall, the exterior seems to be more quiet and lesst sporty than the old generation, but the model features an increased elegance.

The new Impreza will be launched at the Auto Show in New York. European version will have minor changes and will be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the fall.

According to an official statement, Subaru says that the inside has received significant changes, being more roomy and is made ​​from higher quality materials.

The model will be equipped with new petrol boxer engines, which pursuant to the manufacturer, would have a consumption of 6.5 litres/100 km (36 mpg). The new Impreza could also get a hybrid variant, a first for Subaru. The hybrid system is developed in collaboration with Toyota.

Opel unveils the serial version of the Astra GTC




Opel offered to the public a picture with the side and the back of the production version of Astra GTC, a concept that was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. The picture was shown on the manufacturer's Facebook page. Along with the Astra GTC, the image presents also the current generation Astra hatchback.

Spy Shots: Ford Mondeo next-generation




Ford is developing the next generation Mondeo, which will be offered in three segments: saloon, station wagon and sedan coupe.

Official: BMW presents the new 2012 M5 F10 concept




Bavarian manufacturer has released the first images and information with the concept which prefigures the future 2012 M5 F10, which will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the fall.

The series version will take about 99% of aesthetics implemented on this concept, which I think is a very good news, I don't think anyone can contradict me. We've all seen the new M5 looks something more quiet than the old generation, but the truth is that we are still dealing with an impetuous beast, dressed in a quite aggressive design expressed by aesthetic elements as modified front bumper, embellished by three large air intakes for engine cooling and to emphasize the car's sporty character. We can not overlook the elegant 20 inches alloy wheels, covered with 265/35 ZR20 tires. The front wings are featuring of ostentatious chrome ornament ennobled by M Division logo. Rear greets us with four chrome exhaust pipes, a deflector and a very discreet aileron.

Unfortunately, the Bavarian manufacturer continues to be mysterious regarding the engines. It is a V8 TwinTurbo engine whose performance were not disclosed. But the latest rumors indicate a power between 555 and 600 horsepower (408-441 kW). The engine will be assisted by a seven-speed automatic gearbox with dual-clutch, called DCT Drivelogic.

Future BMW M5 F10 owners will have available four driving modes titled: Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and M.

Ferrari 599's successor will be lighter, more powerful, but will still have a V12 engine

2012 BMW M5 F10 Concept : first pictures "leaked" on the Internet

Bugatti 16C Galibier serial version debuts in 2013

Nissan brings improvements to 370Z model in both coupe and roadster variant
